MRCKC Training
One of the primary goals for the Medical Reserve Corps is training for all Division 1 and Division 2 members so that we will be ready to respond if the need arises.
Core Competency Training Classes
Division 1 and Division 2 members are required to complete the following core competency training classes within four months of acceptance:
- Orientation
- Orientation classes are offered quarterly. Register through i-INFO.
- Personal and Family Preparedness
- You may take this course in person (register through i-INFO) or online. If you prefer to take the course online through FEMA, complete the course IS-22: Are You Ready? An In-Depth Guide to Citizen Preparedness and send a copy of your certificate of completion to Charlie Bryan (e-mail to cbryan@marc.org or fax to 816-421-7758).
- National Incident Management System IS-100 and IS-700

MRCKC is required by federal mandate to comply with National Incident Management training standards as a condition of receiving federal grant funds. MRC volunteers must successfully complete the following two online self-study courses:
